In April 2025, I announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will contribute $2 million towards the construction of a Youth and Community Centre at St Mary's the Nativity Orthodox Church in Mays Hill and I'm proud to back this one.
St Mary's is an anchor for so many people in our community. This new centre will give young people a safe and welcoming space to learn, grow, and connect with programs focused on education, mental health, and social outreach, as well as a hub for community events that bring people together.
This is exactly the kind of investment that strengthens the fabric of our community and I can't wait to see it come to life for the people of Mays Hill.
