$400,000 COMMITMENT TO ESTABLISH PARRAMATTA ISLAMIC CULTURAL ASSOCIATION SERVICE CENTRE

By Andrew Charlton

24 April 2025

Andrew Charlton, Federal Member for Parramatta, today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $400,000 to help establish a new Parramatta Islamic Cultural Association Service Centre.

This commitment will support the renovation and fit-out of a community space in central Parramatta, creating a much-needed hub for youth, women, and seniors in the local Islamic community.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.

Quotes attributable to Dr Andrew Charlton MP:

“This new service centre will provide real, practical support – from youth mentoring to women’s programs and community wellbeing.”

“Only a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver the funding to bring this centre to life.
